A+ Mobile Solutions Adds NAO Robot for Turn-Key Coding Solution

02/09/2015, Bay Shore, NY:
A+ Mobile Solutions announced today that the Aldebaran NAO Robot and its development software is available as an optional add-on to its Mobile STEM Lab – Intelligent Laptop Cart, adding the ability to teach programming and coding to students of all ages.  The NAO robot is the leading humanoid robot being used in research and education worldwide.  Equipped with pressure, tactile and sonar sensors, cameras and microphones to perceive its surroundings, NAO can be programmed to visually track objects, respond to touch, learn and recognize images, faces and process speech in 19 different languages. Students can learn to program the robot to perform an unlimited number of simple to complex behaviors using the easy-to-use Choregraphesoftware. More advanced students can code behaviors using programming languages, including C++, Java, JavaScript, MATLAB, Urbi, .Net and Python.

A+ STEM Labs provides educators with everything they need to make coding a part of classroom lessons.  The Intelligent Laptop Cart, which can be configured with up to 35 laptops, is a complete teacher’s command center that enables teachers and students to make the most productive and efficient use of personal laptops and tablets. The Robot Technology Kit includes 2 NAO robots and 15 software licenses, allowing an entire class to share in the coding fun.

“We are dedicated to giving educators the tools necessary to efficiently use technology in the classroom while providing solutions that prepare students for the advanced careers of tomorrow. Partnering with Aldebaran and pairing their product with our Intelligent Laptop Cart creates one of the best turn-key coding solutions out there.” said Bill Waibel, President of A+ Mobile Solutions.
